CML was established in 1996 and has been continuously improving and expanding its range of services to meet the needs of its members to promote and support the mutual aid activity in Lebanon. In addition, CML is a mutual and social protection with the mission to offer healthcare services to its members through a variety of services based on the international principles of mutual aid: freedom of choice, prevention of risks, and cover of medical expenses.

CML provides social and economic support in all areas to the welfare of individuals and families and as a member of “Association Internationale de la Mutualité “ (AIM) and the “International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation “ (Icmif), the CML is governed by binding regulations and modern techniques adopted worldwide. CML has been accredited by the French reinsurance company Caisse Centrale de Reassurance (ccr) one of the reinsurance company in the world with a AAA insurer financial strength rating.
