Lebanon 2011 Pentathlon has been launched by “Skiing Society”, “Chabab Loubnan” and “Groupe Z”. The Pentathlon will take place on Sunday the 31st of July 2011 at Keserwan mountains from 9:00 am till 5:oo pm.

This event will be hosting the most qualified and professional Lebanese international teams besides the Lebanese army groups. This unique event will consist of the following steps:

1. Kayak Competition (700 meters) at the first stage of the race in Faraya (Chabrouh)
2. Biking Competition (around two hours:15 km): On/Off Road biking from Chabrouh till Mzaar Moutains (Ouyoun El Siman)
3. Running Competition (7 Km): a running phase will take place from Mzaar Mountains till Faqra Club
4. Grass Ski: this new technique will take place a Faqra Club special slope
5. Extreme sports: the last phase includes a combination of mountain climbing, “Rappel” and “Tyrolienne” (130 meters) at Faqra natural bridge

CML encourages challenging sports including climbing.

Climbing is a sport for everyone reagrdless of experience or fitness level.

Therefore, CML sponsored the Gecko big event that was held at St. Joseph College, Antoura on Saturday the 30th of April 2011. CML offered 4 dental outpasses for the winners.
